about the product

Spanish brand TIERRA ZEN’s story started when the founder left home to work in the Middle East and was fascinated by the world. Back to Spain he started importing different international products that represent cultures and rituals.

• The Dharma bell originates from Japan, where it is used in some Buddhist practices to accompany periods of meditation and chanting.
• Played like the keizu bell, striking the edge with the mallet.
• Its clear and pristine sound invites you to practice full awareness, calm strong emotions and quiet the mind by following the rhythm of the breath.

• Thich Nhat Hanh used and recommended this type of bowl for practicing meditation. He explained, “When I listen to the bell, I can feel how my sorrow begins to dissolve, my mind calms down, my body gets relaxed. A smile appears on my lips. Following the sound of the bell, my breathing takes me back to the safe island of mindfulness.”.

about the brand

TIERRA ZEN - Started when the founder Angel Chamorro left to work in the Middle East at 21. He had never flown before, nor had travelled abroad. There he met people from all over the world and was fascinated by the world. Back to Spain he wanted to pursue a career that would allow me to continue living in an international environment. And so he started importing three aromas of Morning Star Japanese incense from Nippon Kodo. That was 1989. Now Tierra Zen carry more than a thousand products. The world is still plenty of things to delight the five senses and at Tierra Zen we do endeavor to get just a few.
