Japanese brand UNO CHIYO shares the love of cherry blossoms by making the smell into incense sticks, inspired by the 1500-year-old cherry tree “Usuzumi no Sakura”, sharing cherry blossoms’ sweetness, elegance and the happiness that follows.

Legends have it in the village of Gifu Prefecture (now Motosu City), there is a 1500-year-old cherry tree that heralds the arrival of spring in full bloom. Its name is "Usuzumi no Sakura." It is said that this miraculously aged cherry tree was planted by Emperor Keitai. When it was about to decay, it was Uno Chiyo who worked hard to save the old cherry tree. The "Usuzumi no Sakura" was beautifully revived and became one of the "Three Great Cherry Trees of Japan”. This incense stick was created with its deep and elegant appearance and beauty in mind.
