Saturday Factory is founded by a group of craftsmen (including a carpenter, a welder, a stone mason, a metal worker, a machinist, a blacksmith, a terra cotta roofer and a painter), blue-collar workers from all around Japan that have a unique and creative point of view in creating quality interior pieces. Experienced in building exterior spaces that connect with the town landscape, they combine technologies and expertise to re-purpose the “GAP RESOURCES” - unused time and extra or leftover material in construction and the manufacturing process, giving these materials a new value.

Features of Crafted Mobiles Series
Crafted mobiles are art pieces by Saturday Factory representative Odagiri Satoshi, handcrafted from carefully selected materials such as circulating leaves, twigs and metals from town factory that are not in use anymore, acknowledging the cyclical rhythms of nature and emphasizing the balance of mutual relationships, creating new value to the pieces by rebalancing these materials, encouraging hope by rethinking the balance.

Each piece is unique and one of a kind.
